Wild Media Co (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain and protect personal information when you visit https://wildmediaco.ca (the “Site”) or contact us through the Site. It should be read with our Website Terms of Use.

Our Site is hosted on Squarespace. We do not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or other optional advertising or analytics tracking tools on the Site. Squarespace may nevertheless process technical information and use cookies necessary for hosting, security and website functionality. Squarespace’s own practices are described in its applicable privacy and cookie notices.

Information We Collect

When you contact us, inquire about services, or submit a form, we may collect your name, email address, business or organization name, telephone number, project details and anything else you choose to provide.

Our hosting provider may automatically process technical information necessary to deliver and secure the Site, such as IP address, browser and device information, requested pages and access logs. We do not currently use this information for our own optional visitor analytics or targeted advertising.

If you contact us through a linked social media platform, we may receive information you choose to share or make publicly available through that platform. Those platforms have their own privacy policies.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information, financial account credentials or passwords through our website contact forms.

How We Use Information

We use information to respond to inquiries, assess potential projects, communicate with clients and prospective clients, provide requested services, maintain business records, protect the Site, address legal or security concerns and comply with applicable law.

We will not add you to promotional email lists or send commercial electronic messages without consent or another lawful basis under applicable Canadian anti-spam requirements.

Cookies and Tracking

We do not currently deploy optional analytics or advertising pixels on our Site. Squarespace may set cookies or use similar technologies that support core site operations, security and performance. You may manage cookies through your browser, although blocking essential cookies may affect site functionality.

We do not represent that the Site has an opt-in cookie banner or that all cookies are disabled until consent is given. If we introduce non-essential tracking in the future, we will update this policy and implement any consent mechanisms required by applicable law.

Sharing and Service Providers

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate our website and business, including Squarespace for website hosting and providers used for business communications and document storage, only as reasonably necessary for those purposes.

We may also disclose information with your consent, to comply with applicable law, to protect legal rights, or in connection with a legitimate business reorganization. Service providers may process information outside Ontario or Canada, subject to applicable legal requirements.

Retention and Security

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, subject to legal, accounting, contractual and dispute-resolution requirements.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.

Your Privacy Rights

Subject to applicable law and exceptions, you may request access to or correction of personal information we hold about you, ask questions about our handling of it, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. We will assess deletion requests in light of applicable retention obligations.
